Honesty is Stupidity?

Sometimes my mind keep wondering...
Is it good to be honest to everybody...
Is being honest to people a bad thing...
Or must I always be "fake" just to impress and please people?
I don't know... and I have no answer....
Anyway, I guess it depend on individual personality, characters, own values and beliefs.
as well as the situation and the type of people u mixed with.

Well, I choose to be honest and admit my mistake to one of my youngest sis, R
I was bathing and somehow or rather...
I accidentally flushed down one of her "facial wash" tube into the toilet bowl...
Basket... how did it happen?
I mean I just flushed the toilet bowl and the container too slippery and fallen into the bowl.
Alamak... I was thinking...
Should I tell her I was the one who make her facial wash tube "disappeared"
or should I just pretend that nothing happen...
Well... the devil inside me said.. nvm lah... not your fault... it just happened and forget it lor..
but my angel (conscience) tell me... just admit to her that you are the one who carelessly
lose the thing accidenatally lor... will not die right!
Zzzz.. in the end, when I came out of the toilet...
I told R that.. sorry kor just now accidentally flushed down your facial wash tube
into the toilet bowl...
Then her reaction was... WHAT THE HELL....
KNS.. u bloody kor... do you know how much that facial wash cost...
it is around $20 which I bought a few weeks ago...
At this moment, I knew I must have make a mistake in confessing the truth to her..
haiz... out of my own pride and dignity, I shot back and argue with her...

Then the next day, I gave her the $20 for her to buy a new one....
Now I guess being honest and confessing your mistakes is "stupidity and costly"
haha... I learnt a "new" lesson today..
